Derecognition of Congress?

Has anyone thought about this? Derecognition of Congress as a political party!

Congress has been a mark of Indian politics for over 110 years. People grew with Congress, people opposed Congress, people were ruled by Congress and what not. It was unimaginable to think something like politics without Congress till we saw some serious politics in the late seventies.

I am still fascinated by the reselience of Congress. The political party keeps moving on though I can't see any clear ideology associated with the party. Old school politicians like Jagdish Tytler, Natwar Singh still have strong foothold there. Very few people like Manmohan Singh, Chidambaram, Praful Patel (NCP) are conspicuous with their new thoughts on progress. Most of the people in Congress give an impression that they are there to make money. In my personal opinion, Congress has let down our conuntry.

It will be good see a watershed in Indian politics - we need new ideas and new parties. Parties that fight elections on development and performance agenda. Parties that strive for improving living conditions. I am not partisan here towards BJP - they have similar problems too except that they have shown signs moving in a direction of development and governance.

Let's come out of old school politics my fellow Indians. Let's support political parties who can build good infrastructure, who can improve living conditions and who can make India a very proud country.
